PCN members are individuals who contribute their skills with and knowledge of communication strategy, framing and messaging, and media tools to: 1) enhance the influence of social change movements on public policy and opinion; and 2) realize a world without poverty, racism, and other forms of oppression. They support the Network’s work to strengthen and amplify the power, voices, and vision of grassroots movements that are working for racial, social, economic, and environmental justice.
Members – Participants at this level are working communicators who want to be connected to and learn more about the Network
Request information about membership by contacting the staff.
Working Members – Members of this group have participated in a Network event and decided that they want to make a greater commitment of time and service to the Network. They have the highest level of participation in the Network through their service in PCN working groups and committees as well as providing pro-bono services to grassroots organizations and change efforts. The Network’s governing body, the Leadership Council, is drawn from this group. Working members actively participate in direction setting for the Network through giving their ideas and feedback via conversations, surveys, and “business meetings” at national gatherings.
Contact the Network for more information about becoming a Working Member.
